 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991) is known as his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American rapper, singer as well as songwriter, record producer and songwriter. Two EPs were released by Feuerstein, I'm free (2012) [3] and an EP titled self-titled in the year 2014. He was signed to Capitol CMG. Mansion was his first major label album. It was released on March 31st, 2015. The second album of his studio, Therapy Session, which was released April 22, 2016 was a top 12 album of the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned several accolades, some of which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF was a hit with the mainstream in 2017 with the release of Perception. the album charted at number one in the United States and was certified platinum, while its third single, "Let You Down" made it to number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 was a worldwide top-10 chart. He achieved similar commercial success with his follow up The Search (2019). Feuerstein claimed that rap was a way for him to escape during his early years. He would record songs on a karaoke machine, recording instrumentals on one microphone and rapping on another. Feuerstein self-released his debut studio album Moments on November 29, 2010 under his real name. On August 2, 2011 the singer released his first single "Alone". Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the composers and producers. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became interested in his music. He published his debut extended play I’m Free on May 2nd 2012, and Profitt produced the show. The tracklist consisted of nine songs , including "Alone". The EP also included an original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist teased that NF would be released in the near future, however Feuerstein left the label due to disagreements. NF production was postponed. But, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, in the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1. He released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on the 4th of November, 2013. Profitt was heard again on the track, along with the vocals of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
