 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actress just after emigrating to United States. From 2013 until 2016 she worked as the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. Her fame was boosted due to her appearances in TV commercials. In addition to commercial appearances, she was a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub, who was originally chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. She and her parents left antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial hardships in her family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school after her sophomore years. She earned the GED and then was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
